Healing is a practical means of achieving psychological and physical well-being, and in my opinion healing takes place through contact to and identification with the divine. This involves a loss or putting aside of the ego. I also believe faith and spiritual healing to be two interpretations of the same phenomenon. Treatment consists of a short conversation of 10-15 minutes followed by 45 minutes healing.
I am a member of the Danish national federation Healerringen and adhere to their ethical guidelines. I have taken a 300 hour course in anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and diseases at Skolen for Alternativ Terapi and have also followed a basic training course at Center for Bevidst Liv og Død (Centre for Conscious Life and Death). The Encylopædia Britannica describes faith healing as a recourse to divine power to cure mental or physical disabilities. Some differentiate between faith healing and spiritual healing, arguing that spiritual healing is a natural phenomenon.
